Our 19 cosy rooms with the total capacity
of about 50 beds are
situated in two separate buildings next to each other. The room
sizes vary from single rooms to rooms for five people.
Almost all of our rooms have a private
shower and toilet. In
addition, all rooms are equipped with a colour TV, fridge and
coffee maker. Some of our rooms have also a kitchen. Sauna is in
the free use of our guests every evening from 6 to 10pm.
Our luxorious suite with more than 100m2
of floor space has among
other things fully equipped kitchen, fireplace and a sauna with swimming
pool.

mon-thu 16-23 and fri-sat
19-02. Breakfast is served in our restaurant on weekdays from 6
to 8am. In addition, you can have dinner from our weekly menu with

Hanasaari Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre
seeks to expand and
improve connections between Finland and Sweden in the spheres of
culture, business and civil society. Hanasaari Cultural Centre
pursues this mission by creating conditions for co-operation between
organisations and individuals, and by fostering human contacts.
Hanasaari is also a well-known and
reliable congress centre,
providing both modern conference facilities and a high standard
restaurant and hotel.
The establishment of Hanasaari Cultural
Centre is closely bound up
with the modern history of Finland and Sweden. In 1967 the latter country
wrote off most of the outstanding debt arising from its
loans to Finland during the Second World War. A policy decision
was then taken by the Government of Finland to build a Swedish-
Finnish cultural centre in Finland. Hanasaari Cultural Centre was officially
inaugurated on 1 June 1975.
Hanasaari Cultural Centre primarily seeks
to promote and diversify
co-operation between Sweden and Finland in the various branches of cultural
and social life. It keeps the public informed of current conditions through
seminars, art exhibitions, literary visits, concerts, films and other
events, while engaging in continuous
dialogue between the two countries. The work of Hanasaari in recent years
has also emphasised a European perspective that has proved to
be a factor enriching bilateral cultural exchanges.
Some of the events at Hanasaari are
arranged by the Cultural
Centre itself and some are organised in association with one or
more partners.
The Cultural Centre has a well-stocked
library with a broad
selection of Finnish and Swedish literature.
One recent high point in the history of
the Cultural Centre was
its 25th anniversary celebrations held on 12 June 2000, when
Finland's President Tarja Halonen re-inaugurated the newly-renovated
auditorium. This fully refurbished facility now meets the highest
contemporary standards in terms of its equipment and general atmosphere.
Hanasaari Cultural Centre is a popular
and reliable conference
venue where plans are set in motion as agreed. We welcome not only
organisations and businesses organising international conferences
over several days, but also smaller seminars, short departmental gatherings
and a variety of other events.
The conference facilities, hotel rooms,

are all at hand in the same building. The two largest conference
rooms are equipped for simultaneous interpretation. Other modern

30 single and 31 double
rooms. An extra bed can also be provided in ten of the rooms enabling

of charge for private motor vehicles and buses.
Every room includes original works of
mainly graphic art. In this
way we seek to make our extensive art collection more directly available to
our guests. Hotel guests are also free to use the
