AreteCapital Group was formed in the summer of 2001 to provide investment banking and
financial advisory services to private and public middle market companies and their

different perspective than other investment bankers or financial advisors we treat
your business as our business. As such, our client service focus is on creating long term

that, we are relationship and goal oriented, rather than transactional in focus.

Ledyard
National Bank
In September 1989, a group of eleven prominent civic and business leaders was formed to
discuss the feasibility of opening a new community bank in the Upper Valley. This was in
response to the changes in the local banking scene that resulted from long-established
community banks being sold and merged into larger regional financial institutions. At that
September meeting, the group decided to embark on the establishment of a new community
bank whose trademark would be providing personal, responsive and efficient services to
businesses and individuals in Hanover and neighboring towns. From the beginning, Ledyard's
founders believed that offering full money management services was consistent with the
bank's strategic niche. In July 1994, the bank opened a de novo Investment and Trust
Department.
Ledyard National Bank was established to provide the Upper Valley with a choice.
Therefore, the bank will do its utmost to provide excellence in service and a full range
of quality products and services.
