Indonesia is well known for its vast
amount of natural resources. Timber, oil, gas, gold, silver, ore, etc. Name it and
Indonesia has it. Our company concentrates on the export of wood and timber products
obtained from Indonesia's sustainable forest plantations. We succeeded in creating a
substantial export business in wood-based products such as furniture (hardwood, rattan and
bamboo), hardwood doors, gazebos and prefabricated houses and cottages, all fabricated in
our own factory in Probolingo, East Java. Since our company is based on the island of
Bali, the majority of our goods that we export have a typical Bali touch. Our hardwood
doors, Bali gazebos (pool houses or Tea hosues), prefabricated Bali cottages and furniture
sell world-wide.
Bali Gazebos
We are the only Gazebo builder that exports the original "Bali Gazebo",
built in accordance with the Balinese arithmetic rules, proportional to the principles of
length, height and width.
Gazebos are called "Bale" in Bali. These "Bales" are attuned to the
climate and the culture, economical but sophisticated in design. These traditional
pavilions of Bali are the result of centuries of experimentation and the blending of the
best of Javanese, Nepalese, Chinese and Indian styles. The "Bale" is mainly used
as retreat facility (pool house, tea house, or just a place to relax lying in your
hammock).
A "Bale" is a modern development from the last 30 years, but still based on the
order in the Balinese universe which is a three part division; the roof (the "God's
portion"), the mid section (the "human section") and the base (the
"netherworld"). We produce the Bali gazebos, with or without original Balinese
carvings from Teak, or Bangkirai.
Prefabricated Bali cottages
Easy to build do-it-yourself kit packages of Prefabricated Bali style houses
cottages, ranging from 25 m2 up to 50 m2 and over.
The typical Bali style house is highlighted by the typical roof shape and the open inside
roof structure (no ceiling). Roofs can be made from thatched roof panels, shingles or
fired roof tiles.
Our prefab cottages are made from top class Djati teak or Bangkirai hardwood ( sometimes
called Balau). Teak and Bangkirai is 100% termite resistant and has a life time in the
open of some 30 years when untreated. When treated with a varnish or lacquer and
maintained 2-yearly, life time will increase significantly.
The cottages are made from standard sized modules. The rapid modular building system does
not require building experience to assemble the modules. Framework and wall panels can be
erected within 2 days. If you wish you can make your own design based on the standard
modules. Send us your sketch or drawing and we will do the rest, free of charge.
In principle no structural design calculations will be required by the authorities or
councils in your country. Architectural drawings will be submitted with the shipment of
you order.
Choices can be made for the roof in either fired and glazed roof tiles, thatched roof
(dried alang-alang grass), or wood shingles.
Furniture
Although not produced in our factory we export large volumes of tropical hardwood
furniture, mainly Teak and Mahogany and rattan and bamboo furniture.
We have years of experience working with factories across Indonesia. We have many sources
for the furniture products and can supply nearly anything that you might need. We have our
own inspectors, that check and monitor the fabrication process as to ensure that the
product is of the highest quality.
Wood
All the wood used is selected hardwood, without impurities, pit holes and/or
imperfections.
Prior to fabrication the wood is kiln dried to maximum 12% to 15% moisture content. All
wood sections will be fumigated with ethylene oxide prior to shipment to kill any hiding
insect.
